I'm your hostess, Bonita Y. Jackson. I was initiated into Delta Pi Chapter (Jackson State University) on April 16, 1977 (I was on the Fall, 1976 line) and am Golden Life Paid-in-Full. I am currently suspended because I refused to allow Delta's national officers to dictate what I could do with this website (see my Delta Bio), but my last affiliation was with the Baltimore County Alumnae Chapter, located in Randallstown, MD, where I was elected to serve as Journalist for 2002-2004.

I was appointed to the National Technology Task Force for 2000-2002 by
our National President, Soror Gwendolyn E. Boyd. As part of my duties on the National Tech Task Force, I was the first Webmaster of the OFFICIAL Delta website. My duties as National Webmaster included my redesign of the website in 2001 and serving as the lead on the very first online registration system for the 2001 Regional Conferences and the 2002 National Convention. I also designed the online "Census 2001" form to collect demographic information for analysis by the National Organizational Task Force. I am the author of two Delta workshops, "Every Chapter Needs a Webmaster", presented during the 2001 Regional Conference cycle, and "Designing and Maintaining a Delta-Compliant Website", presented at the 46th National Convention in Atlanta, GA.

I also developed and maintained the very first Eastern Regional website in July 2001, and I was appointed by Eastern Regional Director, Cheryl A. Hickmon to serve as the Coordinator of the Eastern Region Technology Task Force for the 2001-2003 biennium. My suspension also cancelled that appointment, as well as discontinued my work on that website.

This website is indicative of my love for my sorors. We do so much to help others - it is imperative that we also extend a hand to each other. If this site has helped you in any way or if you have a suggestion for its improvement, please let me know!
